About Me.

Viviane Joynes

Executive Coach | Former CEO

Helping leaders perform at their best and love leading in a way that lasts.

After two decades in leadership, I know the view from the top and the weight that comes with it. I’ve led subsidiaries of listed companies, built purpose-driven startups from the ground up, and steered teams through uncertainty, ambition, and change.

Leadership Experience

I’ve held the responsibility for performance, people, and the quiet fear that comes when both feel fragile. I know what it is to thrive and what it is to keep going when the fuel gauge is flashing red. Those experiences are the foundation of how I lead, and how I coach.

Who I Work With

Today, my work is with CEOs and leadership teams who want to perform at a consistently high level without burning out or losing themselves in the process. Leaders who want clarity, energy, and impact, and a way of leading that feels deeply aligned with who they are.

Coaching Approach

My coaching sits at the meeting point of the strategic and the human: clear thinking, deep listening, and the kind of conversation that cuts through the noise and gets to what really matters.

Team Workshops & Strategy Days

Alongside 1:1 work, I also design and facilitate team workshops, off-sites, and strategy days, supporting teams across the business to strengthen trust, align around what matters, and perform at a high level, sustainably.

What Drives Me

I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people thrive particularly the intersection of neuroscience, leadership, and sports psychology.

How we thrive under pressure. How we build clarity and focus that lasts. How we stretch without breaking. I don’t believe in performance at all costs. It needs to be sustainable. What ultimately drives me is seeing people thrive.

And on a personal note

I try, not always gracefully, to apply those same lessons to myself.

I’m Franco-British and split my time between the UK and the French Alps, where I live with my partner and our daughter, Eva. After nearly twenty years in London, we chose the mountains and still love going to the UK.

Adventure has always pulled at me.

Signature Story

A few years ago, I ran across Europe to raise money for refugees a journey that stripped everything back to resilience, purpose, and the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other.

What Guides My Work

I believe the best performance comes when leaders genuinely love leading when they feel connected to what they do and who they are while doing it.

It’s not sentimentality. It’s evidence-based. And it’s the thread that runs through everything I do.

I call it Love Leading.

My Leadership Principles.

Put Yourself First.

That’s how great leaders serve.

Stop Doing More.

Make more impact.

Don’t just lead.

Love leading.
